On my old Windows 98SE system I got used to the "Mystery"
wallpaper background featuring an Edgar Allen Poe library
with a mysterious portrait hanging over the fireplace.
Now with XP the best I can find is "Stonehenge".
Is there any way I can download and use my
former "Mystery" backcloth with Windows XP?

In your older versions of Windows, the wallpapers for
themes were in this file: C:/Program Files/Plus!/Themes.
Find the file called (probably) "Mystery wallpaper.jpg".
Copy it and paste it into XP in one of these places:
. "My pictures"
. C:/WINDOWS/Web/Wallpaper
. any place you want because when you choose your
desktop wallpaper there is a browse button to search for
the picture of your choice from the location of your
choice.

Now if you no longer have that file and you are trying to
get the file, I don't know where to download it from the
web, but you can leave me your email address and I can
send it to you. I'm sure? I have it around here
somewhere... ...maybe on my Win 95 computer.
