Have u mistakenly made your desktop an acive desktop?
that might have happened. If not, then just find where
the file was saved on your hdd and delete it. If you
don't remember what the file was called go back to that
site and act like you're going to download it again.
Right click -> SaveAs and look at the file name. You can
also notice the directory where it's being saved to if
you haven't changed that download directory it will be
the same as the last time you downloaded that picture.
If you changed the download directory, just do a search
for that file and then delete it.
Find a new file or use an existing XP picture for your
desktop and see if that works. If so, then i'd recommend
being a little more careful with what you do on the
internet.

A few places to look:
If you can right click on the desktop, choose Arrange Icons by and then
remove the check next to Lock Web Items on the Desktop.

If no right click menu or still stuck with the wallpaper, use Display>
Desktop> Customize Desktop. On the Web page that appears, uncheck the box
to lock web items to the desktop. Also you might see the wallpaper file in
the web items list. If present, remove the check next to it.
