Wallpaper will not select

I upgraded Win98 to XP Home, and am unable to select the
XP images as Wallpaper. The images I am talking about are:
Friend, Windows XP, Radiance, Bliss ect.
I can, however, choice pictures I have saved onto the C:
drive. When I am in the Display Properties | Desktop tab,
I can see all the above mentioned images, but they won't
set as wallpaper. Thanks,

However, when I tried accessing line 142 on your site, I
received the message "page cannot be found".

It seems to be OK now, but earlier today I also got "page cannot be found".

Hi, would this work for me? All of a sudden I cannot load up any of my
..jpg pictures for wallpaper. I can load .bmp but that is it.

Thanks. Driving me nuts too. It worked before and all of a sudden nada.
