Hello ,
I have a jpeg that is 1232x1632 and I set it up as my
desktop wallpaper. The problem Im having is that In
Display properties I have to set it up as stretched or
else the jpeg does not cover the whole desktop, but the
image now looks very strectched and the people in the
jpeg look over weight. And if I select "tile" or "center"
the image looks good but I do not get the whole view. Is
there a way I can fix the over streched image to look
good even if the jpeg does not cover the whole desktop?
Many Thanks,

Chris

The image should be of the size as the resolution.

Check your display size. Right click on your desktop screen, click on
Properties and the Settings tab.
You will see your screen resolution there. It will be something like 1280 x
1024 or some other numbers. The aspect ratio is 1280/1024 = 1.25
If your photo is 1232 x 1632. Your aspect ratio is 1232/1632 = 0.75. There
is no way this picture will fit your screen. The best that can be done is to
center it.
You can have a picture larger than your screen, say twice, 2560 x 2048, same
aspect ratio. In this case the picture is automatically scaled down and it
would fit your screen perfectly.
So there are two factors to consider, the number of pixels and the aspect
ratio.
