Wallpaper from server shows only halfway

We applied a group policy for .jpg wallpapers. Enabled active desktop
as well. The file is in the server in a shared folder that is set for
everyone. The problem we're having is that Widows Xp workstations seem
to only show this wallpaper halfway. The other half black. What I did
notice though is that we go to internet explorer / tools / internet
options and juts click on the OK button and then the whole wallpaper
pops up. Any ideas?
 
I had the same problem. I used a bitmap (although is a bigger file) and
it worked fine.

Hi,

I have this problem as well. I am not sure why but it may have
something to do with the loading from a Network Share. I just click
anyware on the desktop and hit F5 and it loads fine. However, most of
the time I just don’t have to click but just hit F5.
