I found some .jpg & .bmp (files) pictures that I'd like to use as Wallpaper,
individually, not as part of a slideshow. I don't know where to put them so
that they'll show up on the list, along with the rest of the Wallpaper
choices that came with my WinXP. Could someone tell me where I can put them,
or what I need to do to get them there?

You can browse for the wallpaper pictures as well - but you could copy them
into C:\windows ( or %SystemRoot%\ )...

If you place them in any of the following locations, they will show up in the
list accessed through Display Properties -> Desktop page.

Your My Pictures folder and its subfolders
C:\Windows\Web\Wallpaper
C:\Windows
C:\Documents and Settings\YourAccount\ Application Data\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer

Take a look at this article for more info.

Thank you very much for your both of your inputs. You've not only answered
my question, but have given other options to run with. Once again, Thank
You!!!
