Donna B.
Okay, this's gonna sound like a really stupid question but
it's driving me up the wall - I've turned the net and this
forum upside-down looking for previous posts on the
subject so sorry if this's been covered before, but I'm
damned if I can find it!
Okay, so here's the gist: I've changed my desktop
wallpaper. This worked fine, except for the fact that now
whenever I shut down, the wallpaper image changes back to
the old one just before the computer turns off.
On turning the computer back on and logging in, the new
wallpaper image appears.
Furthermore, no matter what I change this desktop image
to, the previous image loaded before it always seems to
appear when I log off. (Let me clarify that - If I set
image A as wallpaper then change it to image B, image A
will appear when I log off. If I then change the wallpaper
to image C, image B appears when I log off and so on)
Weird huh?
This only started about a day ago. I haven't installed
anything recently, haven't had any windows updates come
through or (knowingly) changed anything else other than
the current wallpaper in the display properties. I do not
have SP2 yet either. Any ideas?
