Wallpaper background in photo album

Newbie here. Trying to do a photo album presentation for son's party. Want to
use a wallpaper-type background for pix that don't cover all of the screen, a
very small image of the school mascot created in a "tiled" way, like a
desktop wallpaper. Is this possible? Thanks!

Possible and surprisingly simple.

Choose Format, Background from the main menu.
Click the dropdown button next to the currently chosen fill and click Fill
Effects.

On the fill effects dialog box that appears, click the Texture tab.
Click Other Textures and choose the picture you want to use.

Click OK then click Apply (to apply the effect to just the current slide) or
Apply To All (to tile 'em all)

The lower resolution (ie, smaller) the picture, the more instances it'll take to
fill the background. If you want fewer or more, adjust the picture size (ie,
number of pixels) in a picture editing program.

Glad it worked for you ... you should *see* the lunatic, ugly thing I committed while
testing this. Gotta choose those b/g images carefully. ;-)
