Waking from sleep

Power setting on my machine is for it to go to sleep after 1 hour and to
wake up the machine I normally hit a key on the keyboard. However, when I
try connect to the machine remotely (using Logmein) when it is asleep I am
unable to do so. Is there some way to wake the machine up when connecting
remotely?

Look for a 'wake on LAN' setting in the bios of the machine
