If I schedule a daily full scan at 4:00am from the application, my computer
must be left on. It will not wake up unless I add something else in the
Scheduler. It would help if MS AntiSpyware added an entry in the Scheduler
in Control Panel so I can select the "Wake the computer to run this task"
option. Another alternative would be to make available the command line
syntax from the Help Menus so I can manually setup a schedule using the
Control Panel Scheduler.

Hans, There are conflicting opinions about having the PC always running.
I have been doing that for years with no problems. It would certainly take
care of your problem. I run my spyware and anti virus after midnight when
nothing else is going on. Works for me.

Agreed--This is something that an individual user can implement. I'm waiting
for beta2, which will do this better.

In addition to being awake, an administrator must be logged in for full
effect--not simple.

I leave my machine on, but I do typically log off at night. For those of us
who prefer to do that (for whatever reason), it seems like MAS should
(ultimately) support that. I was thinking that it was running as a service,
which could be configured with an admin ID, if necessary, to run when no user
is logged in. If anyone know if this capability is planned for the next beta
or final release, I would appreciate a comment. Thanks.

Beta2 will have a component running as a service--I think this will take
care of a number of issues, including scanning at night.
