I have 2 OSes in a multiboot environment, sometimes I want to boot one OS
remotely through a remote wake-on-lan magic packet ping - is there anyway I
can specify which OS is to boot through a magic packet? The default OS isn't
always the OS I want to boot up...

WinME/Win2K (with win2K bootloader).

TIA

Hi

AFAIK no

The machine will just "wake up" and then load whatever the default OS is.
Howeve once this default OS is loaded you can change using system
properties>advanced>startup and recovery>settings>then select which ever
default OS you want(for the purists you can also edit boot.ini), reboot and
voila the OS of your choice is loaded

Not a very clean way of doing it but it will achieve your goal
