Lately I've been having problems with Windows, I click on a DLL and
another program comes up. The 2 culprits seem to be MSO.DLL and
VBINT.DLL they seem to be grabbing programs other thanwhat they are
intended for and the seem to be disappearing and showing up in other
places. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

What do you mean that you clicked on a DLL and another program starts-up?
What program or programs are starting?

Well when I go into Access and hit help. FrontPage tries to install.
when I click on MSO.DLL Icon Cooleditor opened. I deleted that, then a
webccam program tried to open. I ran a registry cleaner, then a DLL
fixer. Problem still exist.
Thanks

Try not doing that and see if the problems stop as well.

That happens on occasion when you start something like Access and
something like Frontpage wants to install due to some bad or aborted
install in someway. It could just as easily be asking for Visio to be
installed. I have seen it do it. I think you have some kind of
installation issues you need to address. I had some similar problems with
a machine on the job. I called Tech Support and they corrected the
problem. I don't know what they did to fix it. I don't think you have a
malware problem, IMHO. You could search Google for a possible fix.

Clicking on a DLL may start some utility program to look at the program
interfaces into the DLL. MSO.dll is a Microsoft Office dll. Maybe, you
have some kind of file association problem that's making bogus programs
start. File association is when you double-click on a file like an Excel
file and Excel starts or Word starts for a Word document.

Hey, anything is possible but it doesn't seem like you have a malware
problem.

I'll check the file association thing.
