Hello,
Here's a bug I have found in MS Antispyware Beta:
If the user has docked their task bar over on the side of
the screen (for example, across the left side of the
screen), all the antispyware message alerts go flying
right up or down the right side of the screen without
stopping long enough for people like me with their
taskbars over on the left to read the message or respond
by clicking a button.
For example, I sometimes use '.bat' files in my Java
programming, but when I try to run the files, antispyware
kicks in to ask me whether I want to allow the script or
block it. Of course I want to click 'Allow', but the
message flies by so quick I can't.
The code responsible for the messaging flying up onto the
screen seems to look for the top edge of the task bar and
stop the flying message when it gets there.
Unfortunately, if the task bar isn't there at the bottom
of the screen, the message just flies on up and off the
screen in the twinkling of an eye. I think they should
have the messages just stop at the bottom of the screen
if the taskbar isn't there to "catch" them.
