Getting messages with Swen attached does not mean your system is infected.
As long as you do NOT open the attachment, your system will remain clean.

All those emails are due to other people's systems that are infected. Those
are the machines swamping your inbox with bogus messages and attachments.
Just keep deleting them or, if offered, set up a message rule in your email
client.

The fact you are receiving the messages has nothing to do with being
infected or previously infected. These are coming from other infected
users. There's nothing you can do except delete them from your inbox. You
are not alone with this problem but until this dies down and other users
take measures to clean their systems. you will continue, at least for awhile
to receive these messages.

Hi sharon,

If you try to block the sender in hotmail or yahoo then
it offers to block all emails from Microsoft which is
totally absurd. Is there any other way to filter this
junk mail in hotmail and yahoo.

I don't use yahoo or hotmail so don't know what their filters offer or
don't offer. Maybe filter on attachment or subject instead of sender.

Since the real "From" address is *not* from MS, whether MS email gets
blocked or not depends on the sophistication of the email filters. Worse
scenario: Is there any earth shattering emails from MS that you're
expecting? Even blocking MS completely until this worm dies down is a
reasonable alternative. At that time it's just a simple matter or removing
the block later.
