W32 HLLW Gaobot Virus

I have this seated in 3 of my Windows\System32 files. I detected it via
the Symatec website. Any body know if it can be removed without a Win XP re
install? I have run the specifc removal tool for this virus from the
Symantec website in both normal and safe mode. I have also gon through the
disabling of the System Restore on XP.

Comments/help appreciated.
