W32/Cult-B virus

I have PC-cillin updated with the latest engine
and pattern files. OS WIN XP.
When I do a scan it doesn't detect the virus.
I found the instructions which seemed
pretty simple. Go into the registry and delete
a couple of entries.

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\NvCpTDaemon =
wauqmr.exe
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce\NvCpTDaemon =
wauqmr.exe

The problem is that the
entries come right back. I tried going into
safemode and deleteing them, same result.
How do I get rid of these entries.

That should be wauaqmr.exe in the above keys.
