When I turn the computer it stops responding and sometimes
reboots or just freezes.

I tried going to the last know configuration but it stops
again and reboots.

I do not have the option to boot step by step

I tried rebooting with a floppy disk and when I want to
see Drive C it does not let me.

What can I do?
Thank you very much!

Have you put the latest patch from Microsoft for the
SBLASTER worm? Put the patch called MS-03-26 at the very
least & see if that helps.

Yes, I installed service pack 4 and all the updates and I
also have symatec antivirus updated at least until last
week.

I can not even log into windows it does not go further
than the screen with the Windows logo.

Your probably getting a BSOD, and your pooter is set to reboot.

Boot to Safe Mode

Press F8 as the Windows Stating Bar first shows and choose Safe Mode. If you
dont know where that is... Put a floppy in a: drive and start your computer.
When it stops because of no NTDLR, release the floppy >press the spacebar
followed immediately by the F8 key.

Right mouse My Computer, choose Properties > advanced tab > uncheck
"automatically reboot..." then backout and restart... Write down the BSOD
and guarantee you one of these very smart people can help you.

good luck,
don
