Whenever the PC is online, it automatically shutdown &
restarts itself. I obtained the following msg from Event
Viewer "The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The
bugcheck was: 0x00000050 (0xbfe4b000, 0x00000001,
0xbfc425f4, 0x00000000). Microsoft Windows 2000
[v15.2195]. A dump was saved in:
C:\WINNT\Minidump\Mini092303-06.dmp. "

I tried to view the .dmp file, but was unsuccessful.
Could anyone please advise on the issue.

Thanks

Has anything changed recently with the computer? Here's a snippet from the
docs:

Bug check 0x50 usually occurs after the installation of faulty hardware or
in the event of failure of installed hardware (usually related to defective
RAM, be it main memory, L2 RAM cache, or video RAM).

Another common cause is the installation of a faulty system service.

Antivirus software can also trigger this error, as can a corrupted NTFS
volume.
