I have 3 systems connected through a router. One is
running 98SE, one is running XP Pro and one is running
win2k Pro. The 98 and XP can see and share files but the
win2k does not allow the other two to see it's files. The
win2k can look at and pull files from the other two across
the P to P network. At this point I may have "messed with
the win2K settings. My question is 1) What do I need to
do to allow each machine to browse the other? 2) Can I
reset the win2k settings to their original? Oh, On the
win 98 machine whenI try to logon/browser the win2k
machine it asks me for a password for IPC$. On the XP it
lets me enter a "name" but I haven't (to my knowledge) set
any password that it also asks for. This is driving me
bonkers.
