W2K can't access workgroup

I have 3 W2K computers networked through a switch. I
recently replaced a motherboard, and on installing W2K again with correct user/password workgroup etc., it tells me the AKU workgroup is not accessible, even though it can
ping the other computers. The other computers can ping the problem one but can't open the shared files.

I tried changing the netbios setting, but to no avail so it's back to the default 'obtain netbios from DHCP'.

Any ideas?

Are they all in the same workgroup? Got File and printersharing loaded? Do
all useraccounts exist on all W2K's?
