I just bought a new Sapphire Radeon card for my dual monitor setup, another 1Gig of Kingston dual channel PC3200 RAM, and a Ultra X-Connect 500W modular PSU. The next purchases will be a new graphics card and two SeaGate HDs for a RAID array.

This is a cool forum.

Hi, I noticed your name on a few forums lately, you're the guy trying to overclock the RAM, right?

LOL...Yeah, that's me. Not getting very far though. Thanks for the welcome everyone.

thats a reasonable system, if you want some more speed that board i think will support a 3.2Ghz prescott

Thanks for the welcome everyone :) Me_2001, to use a 3.2GHz Prescoot what changes would I have to make to my current configuration to make this possible?

Thanks.

LOL, uh, ok. I think I could have figured that out myself. What I meant was would I have to make any changes to my system to support the higher CPU? Actually I got some guys in another computer forum helping me to overclock the CPU I already have, instead of spending the money on a new one.
