w/new motherboard, xp boot hangs

I installed a new motherboard. I installed a nt hard
drive and an xp hard drive from old systems. The nt hard
drive boots fine into nt. the xp hard drive hangs. What
can I do? The xp hard drive is from a compaq. Compaq
does not send xp with its systems, only the certificate.
Therefore, I cannot re-install xp onto the system. XP is
what I really want installed on this computer.

Then you are going to have to purchase XP.
