Hi chris, you probably still have some malware installed
thats making this exe. file. Some Adware & Viruses can
create random named files like this,If the random named
file is in the windows or windows/system32 folder then
this makes it even more suspicious,I think you should try
some other scanners incase you are infected with a worm
that MS Antispy wouldnt detect.
run a scan at any of these sites:
Trend Micro
http://housecall.antivirus.com/
Panda
http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan/
Bitdefender
http://www.bitdefender.com/scan/Msie/index.php
Symantecs Security Check & Virus scanner
http://security.symantec.com/default.asp?
productid=symhome&langid=ie&venid=sym
The easiest way to find out what's running on your pc is
by using Hijack this:
Download Hijack This
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/hijackthis.zip
Unpack it to its own folder(either c/drive or desktop)Run
Hijack this and choose scan & save logfile . You can post
the logfile or email the logfile if you want and i'll
check it for any problems,Theres a few sites that analyse
hijack logs and give results on each entry. To use these
when hijack this finishes scanning it will open the
results page in notepad.Copy all the text and take it to
any of these sites and then paste it into the space
provided:
http://www.hijackthis.de/en
http://hjt.iamnotageek.com/
http://www.help2go.com/modules.php?name=HJTDetective
With the results , if they say its unknown then leave it
in place incase its genuine untill you find out more
about the entry,Same really if it says its nasty ,double
check before deleting anything incase its genuine.Post
the log if you are unsure. If you do want to remove
entries ,put a check(tick) next to the entry, close all
other open windows and press 'fix checked' which will
remove the entry.
Heres some other Adware/spyware scanners you could try if
you still have problems:
CWShredder
http://cwshredder.net/bin/CWShredder.exe
Ad-Aware SE
http://www.download.com/3000-2144-10045910.html?
part=69274&subj=dlpage&tag=button
Spybot Search & Destroy
http://ejrs.com/spybot/spybot.exe
Another site that might help is jotti's
http://virusscan.jotti.org/
When the site opens, press browse then find the file on
your pc (vzvvzv.exe) then press submit and see what the
virus scanners say about it.It uses 13 different scanners
to check the file for malware and then gives the results.
If this keeps returning though when you delete it,the
chances are that there is something else installed that
is putting it there but hopefully the scanners will show
that if not then hijack this would
If you need any help let me know
