vxdmgr32.exe-no disk, what is needed?

vxdmgr32.exe-no disk (2nd line reads) \device\harddisk1
\DR1, It gives me the option to (continue) (try again) or
(cancel). this pops up every time I turn on the computer.
I hit cancel about two or three times and its goes away.
my question is what the computer asking exactly, so i can
fix the problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your first step should be to check Google for vxdmgr32.exe.
It lists some 650 hits, and all of them look like virus
infections. Do you have a virus scanner? Is it up-to-date?
