I need the file VWIN32.VXD to run a floppy disk doctor. It doesn't appear to
be present on XP. Anybody out there who can send? Also, how can I make
folders open by double clicking? At the moment double click brings up
search as it seems to be the preferred option in the drop down menu.

When search opens, click browse, select program and check "always open using
this program".

in dos low level access is built in

in w9x vwin32 provides access to the dos routines, by opening vwin32 using
createfile

in Ntx there are no dos methods, physical drives are opened directly using
createfile

/createfile.asp
