Hi,

I have microsoft antispyware, and everytime i boot up it detects
Vx2.transponder. I then tell it to delete it and run the scan. It runs the
scan, detects infected files and then deletes them. However, every time i
log back on again, vx2.transponder is detected again! So for some reason
antispyware isn't deleting it, even though it sends the msg that it has
deleted it. Does anyone know how i can get rid of the vx2.transponder
toolbar???

Help would be greatly appreciated

Hi, I also get the same thing. Don't know how to get
rid of it. In addition, I get an alert for an euniverse
updater...can anyone help us?

Run Anti-Spyware twice in Safe Mode.

Regarding the Vx2...Try the Vx2 remover from Lavasoft.
first you gotta download and install the Ad-Aware program
then download the Vx2 plug-in and then try getting rid of
it. Havent tried it myself but i suspect itll take care of
the problem as the plug-in is a dedicated Vx2 remover.

Worth a try. But VX2 is difficult.

VX2 remover, "Add on", right menu.

I also wished that MS give some hints about
whats new in definition.

See this from Lavasoft, "Good practise" i think ?!
