I'm a huge Vuescan fan but have wondered if anyone has ever put a true
user's guide together for the SW. Something that goes through every
option and tries to provide a better descriptor for the what is going
on. Most aspects are intuitive, but some, like "white point" etc. are
a little more daunting.

I do not know of such a guide, but you might want to check out Wayne
Fulton's excellent website: <http://www.scantips.com> for terminology.

This same guide is included with your program download. To access, simply
go into Vuescan's help>users guide. For info on the latest changes included
in your version, quick start info, etc, you can find the same web info has
been downloaded and accessed in the program's help>release notes.
