A Wiki perhaps?
It could be a nice way to get some model-specific 'tricks' permanently
recorded.

I know there is a camerapedia -wiki, but am not aware of any scanner
-centred wiki.

If there's interest, I can setup something light. (Not vuescan -limited,
more like 'scanner/film + program specifics')
 
I'd be very interested in such a site, as long as the vuescan fixated folks
refrain from turning it into another battleground.
