VueScan: Saving same file over-and-over?

V 8.1.3.

AutoScan=Scan
AutoSave=Scan
Scan From Preview=True

Nice group of settings in that I can just keep feeding it slides and it doesn't
do to scans for each one (Preview+Scan).

But the problem is that I walk away and leave it without feeding a new slide, it
just keeps saving the last slide over-and-over again.

Something I'm doing wrong?
 
You need to have "+" or "=" at end of your file name pattern, if you
haven't already. Check in the output tab section of the help html.

I mis-stated the situation.

Not the same 'file' as in file name.

Instead, a series of files of the same pic - each with it's number properly
incremented.

Only happens if I set it to scan from preview and fail to feed the next slide
promptly.
 
Oh. Guessing that your scanner is Nikon (or something other than
Minolta), I'm stumped and will bow out.
