Vuescan Batch Scanning Epson 3200

The new versions of Vuescan use a completely different dialogue for batch
scanning. I've been trying to get it to work with my Epson 3200 to scan
black and white in two strips of five and it's not working. The screen comes
up with a 2x5 grid which doesn't conform to my layout and the settings don't
seem to change the size. Anyone have success or the same experiences? I've
reverted back to old versions.

You need to fiddle with the multiscan options and turn off auto and
set it to manual. Even then figuring out which parameter does what is
a pain.
There is some info in the updated docs, perhaps they will make sense
to you...
