I have had very good results scanning Velvia with Vuescan. My experience is with a Nikon 9000 so your results may differ, but: 1. Calibrate your scanner using the Velvia IT8 target from Wolf Faust. 2. Use "Media: Image" setting 3. Set color balance to "neutral" 4. Are you using Velvia 50? If so I find it scans best when exposed at ISO 40.
