If I adjust an image in Vuescan so that it looks right there, it opens in
Photoshop looking very flat. I don't do much in Vuescan, preferring to do
most things in Photoshop, but it would be nice if the very first step wasn't
always making an "S" curve to get the contrast approximately correct. There
must be some way to fix this, and I'm sure it must be simple, but I don't
know how. Could someone suggest a way to adjust something so that the image
as it opens in Photoshop at least closely resembles the image as it appeared
in Vuescan. Thanks in advance.
