Vuescan (even the latest version) doesn't work properly at multi-sampling
mode with Minolta ScanDual IV. The bugs are different.
It may be six color bars along the film segment, or many thin color bars in
random way, or the bar ( approx.22 pix.) on the top of the image (right side
of the film) with a density and color hue slightly different from the rest
image field.
This bug I have observed with 3 samples of scanners and 3 versions of
Vuescan and 3 Windows from 98SE to XP.

Unfortunately, Vuescan seems to have peculiar problems with many
Minolta scanners... did you file a bug report to Ed Hamrick
(instructions on his web site)?
It's the only hope for us Minolta users to get proper support, one
day, from Vuescan, a very good software per se and nicely working with
many other scanners. :-(
