Vuescan and "lock image coloour"

Hi all,

is anyone else having problems with this function?

Worked perfectly for years. Haven't used it in a while and now I'm
getting totally different colours from scans of the same scene. Pictures
have been taken and scanned within minutes of each other.

Almost exactly two years ago I had a similar question and Ed answered:
"The way to test this is to use the procedure to scan different cropped
areas of the same slide, and then see if you can stitch together these
cropped areas. If there's no color and brightness variation, then
the procedure is working right."
