Vuescan 8.01 Bug ? No double digits allowed in settings ?

In previous versions of Vuescan when passes 10-16 were set in the Input tab
under "number of passes" the actual number shows. In 8.01 there is only room
for one digit so past 9 it becomes a 1.

This is also true for all other boxes that display numbers, such as x y images
under crop.

Please advise?

set 'Option Panel Width' in the Prefs tab to a higher value (set
advanced options first) or uncheck 'Enable sliders'.
