I have screen tearing in my games with my Radeon 9700 Pro, despite the fact
that all patchs and drivers are up to date. I have heard that you should
enable vsync to get rid of it, but when I go to the Radeon controls I only
have the option of "always off" or "program preference". Is there a way to
have it "always on"?

Its usually an option you set within each game.
