Hi,
Only just noticed it is missing.
Can't believe it was intentionally removed but apparently so.
Why would anyone remove such a useful feature?
Cycling blindly through the clip stack with shift ctrl V just doesn't cut
it.
Pleeeeeze Uncle Bill, can we have it back?
Bob

As the most common use was to store snippets, the new snippets feature, which
is far more powerful, has replaced this.

I can't agree with you here.
The most common use I had was altering code. It was invaluable where you
were needing to insert 2 or 3 different lines of code in a refactoring
situation.
As an example I have just been through an exercise of moving some statements
from the finish block in to the try block. This required the declaration of
about 3 different common name variables depending on the flavour of the
block being altered. With the clipboard ring I would have had the three
declarations captured after the first few 'repairs', available for insert in
the remaining 60 procedures.
Snippets is a great feature. But it is designed to ease custom structured
code insertion. It is too cumbersome for add hoc cut and pasting. IMO.

Hell, I can't even figure out how to cycle through the clipboard ring! and,
any search I do returns crap. But I stumbled on something that you may like
- "simply drag a piece of code text to any tab in the toolbox". I tried it
and it works - but i still cant figure out the cycle clipboard ring!

Dear Terry

I fear I might have got the wrong end of the stick, but...

Does Ctrl+Shift+V do what you want?

Regards

Neil Allen

Hi Neil,
Yes, I finally figured it out. Was letting up on the Ctrl+Shift too
soon and it was just pasting the last item I put on the clipboard. Was
expecting to 'see' some window open and then I would pick. I still like the
other method i stumbled on of just dragging the code to the toolbox so I can
'see' it and then douple click whatever segment I want inserted.
