Hi, I previously had VS.Net installed on my computer and removed all
references to it (Uninstalled it using Ad/Remove Programs, and followed all
steps outlined in support.microsfot.com/kb/320114). I also had Web
Expressions on my machine but I think all references to that have also been
removed. Here is a snippet from the first error in the file
dd_install_vs_procore_90.txt:

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/winfamily/defender/support.mspx
lists the newsgroups for their private NNTP server. They are all
regarding Windows Defender, including the installation group. You can
see from their webnews client (forum-to-Usenet gateway) at:

that it is for Windows Defender installation discussions. If you want
help regarding the VS [un]install, ask in a VS group, like:

microsoft.public.vsnet.*
microsoft.public.vstudio.*

Thank you for so graciously pointing me to the right forum; With the way the
"New Question" topics are listed, it's almost impossible for first time users
to choose the right topics.

Sorry, I'm not familiar with the webnews interface (forum-to-Usenet
gateway) that Microsoft uses to pretend they have forums while usurping
Usenet. You might do better in newsgroups if you use a newsreader
client (Outlook Express, Thunderbird, Xnews, Dialog, Xananews, Gravity,
MesaNews, etc.) rather than using that webnews client with its minimal
feature set. Besides its clunky UI, the webnews client does
occasionally get screwed up and report errors when users submit their
posts, those users think their post got rejected, so they post again.
You see lots of users reposting their same message over and over (they
just resend it rather than wait 5 minutes to refresh and verify whether
or not it got accepted despite the bogus error).
