In http://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/vs2005/productinfo/productline

it is mentioned that the express edition and standard edition have no
"SQL Server 2005 Integration". Does it mean that they will not be able
to compile SQL Server code or that they will miss the drag 'n drop
components in the Designer? Or something else?

IDE integration will be missing (designers, build system, deployment,
etc.). You can still write your code and deploy it manually.

Thanks,

What exactly do you mean by "build system"? I am assuming all the APIs will still be
available, and compile, right?

Yes, you should be.
