VPN & XP Machines reacting differently

Doesn't anyone have any suggestions for my last post

4 XP Machines trying to connect to VPN on a w2000server
All machines are identical in setup, on the same internet line (I've also tried others), two connect OK and two will not
I'm using DHCP from the router to address all of them

Is this possibly a service pack issue as one has SP2 and the others are SP1

Help!!!!!
 
SP2? Service Pack 2 for XP is not released yet. However, I don't see the
service packs being the issue since you have a SP1 machine experiencing the
same problem. What errors do the failing clients get when they attempt to
connect? Any events logged in hte system event viewer of the server? Are the
clients running any firewall software? Have you tested plugging one of the
failing machines into a hub with the VPN server to see if it can connect?
Can the failing clients connect to other VPN servers?
