I have a windows 2000 server in a NT 4 Domain setup as a vpn server for a
few remote users. I have a few users that don't disconnect after hours.
How can I set an idle limit on the pptp ports.

Thanks.

How to manage VPN idle time.

To Manage VPN idle time, go to Remote access policies and make a change on
Dial-in Constraints.

Bill,
Is it possible to make policies with different timeout periods for different
Windows groups? For example, members of the Supervisors group should be
automatically disconnected (logged off would be even better!) after 10
minutes of inactivity, but other users could stay connected indefinitely. I
couldn't find a policy to do exactly that. Is there a way?
Thank you,
David
