I can't get a VPN connection to work anymore with Vista. My XP machine is
fine.
It worked a few weeks ago, now I get nothing except one out of 20 servers.
I cant run my AutoCAD because I cant find a license now.
XP machine still works fine.
Nothing has been changed on the VPN setups with my systems at work.
Vista just tanked the functionality.
I tried switching between public and private, restarting, disabling
everything outside of Vista, and nothing lets the VPN work right.
Everytime I connect now I connect with no errors, but I cant do anything
with it.

Who have you talked to about this? Have you talked with your company? Have
you talked with the VPN software vendor if any? Have you talked with MS
about this?

I deleted the connection, remade it, and it started working fine again for a
few hours.
Then it just disappears from the Network Sharing center while connected?
No disconnect message, no anything.
But of course all of the normal ports blocked by the domain remain in
effect.
I have to restart the computer to get my regular internet back.
I have spoken with the other guys in the IT department.
My XP machine rght next to me is fine, no problems.
Why would the UAC interfere with a secure VPN connection if that is the
case?

If you consider UAC as the culprit, then why don't just disable it while
using the VPN software? What VPN software is this anyway?
