Great Blue
I have three Windows 2000 Servers that I am trying to configure as
PPTP VPN remote access servers. All serves are in the same AD domain.
Two work fine. I can make server-to-server connections and Windows XP
desktop connections. The third does not receive inbound connections.
On the client side, it fails when authenticating the user with a Error
628. I am trying to login with Administrator account, which works on
the first two machines.
I have compared RRAS settings on the machines. The only difference
that I see is that the one that fails does not have the physical
Ethernet interface (Dedicated) listed under Routing Interfaces. I
can't see why this would affect VPN connections.
Any suggestions? Thanks.
