VPN routing

I have just set up a computer's ADSL connection, which works fine. Also set
up a VPN to a NT4 server, and that works fine too. The problem is that when
the VPN connection is established, the Internet connection doesn't work for
anything else, such as Web browsing or Internet email. As soon as I shut
down the VPN connection, I can use the Web etc. This seems to be a routing
issue, but I don't know enough to be able to tweak the network config to
allow both VPN and Web browsing at the same time. Can anybody out there
advise?

Disable "Use default gateway on remote network"" on the properties of your
client's VPN connectoid.

Check with your IT group before doing this to make sure they allow you to do
this.
