VPN problems

I re-installed windows xp, and everything came back up
fine except for the vpn connection I had. I tried to
recreate the connection, but everytime I use the network
connection wizard, and then try and set up a connection
to my workplace, BOTH options are grayed in (use dial
up/VPN) Therefore, I can't select either one. I'm
really confused, and can't figure out if one of the
required windows services for vpn is missing or what. If
anyone has any ideas, I would love to hear them

I dont know if anyone answered your question but here is
the answer. Telephony, has to be set to manual as well as
the ras services. I had the same problem and managed to
fix that one on my own. But I can't get any machines to
connect. They get to verifying password then I get a650
error tha my server type might not be correct. I am
trying to connect to a win xp pro box.
