Hello,
I hope someone here can help me with this. It is an annoying problem that I
can't seem to solve.
I have installed RRAS on my system to create a vpn server. I have disabled
the routing portion so it is strictly a vpn system. I am also running IIS as
well as DNS on this system. Just incase that is important.
The problem I am having is as follows. I am trying to create a dedicated
game server for battlefield Vietnam on this system. I have installed the vpn
in hopes of allowing my friends to access through vpn and then we can play
LAN games off of the vpn network. That being said, my friends are able to
log in fine and access shared folders without issue. So it appears that the
vpn is working. I have also confirmed that we can ping the server and the
proper IP addresses are being assigned to the client pc's.
So I guess my main question is. Is it even possible to do what I am trying
to do and if so any suggestions as to what I might be doing wrong?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
