Vpn Problems

I have a vpn server at one end with two netcards one is
internal ip and the other has an static ip i also have a
dsl router where i have opened the vpn ports

the problem im having is at the other end when i login in
its completely fine i get the two computers at the bottom
of the screen to say that im logged in the client picks
the correct ip up

but the problem is when i try to find the server using
network neibourhood it doesnt see it

and then if i click on the start menu and use the search
computer option i get the same

any help would appreciate it

A RAS/VPN connection doesn't work like a LAN connection. Network
Neighborhood usually doesn't work over routers or WAN links. It depends on
the computer browser service, which in turn depends on LAN broadcasts.
Broadcasts do not cross routers or WAN links.

You should be able to see shares and map them using the "net view" and
"net use" commands from the command prompt.
