I'm trying to connect to my Windows 2003 server using VPN
I have configured RAS on my server, granted the users access
I have also configured my firewall
The connection will be going through a cisco router then a sonicwall
firewall then my Windows 2003 server
Everytime i try to connect it hangs on verifying username and password and
comes back with error 721

I saw this on the microsoft website
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;829074&Product=winsvr2003

but the hotfixes didn't resolve the problem

Please help

did u open port 1723 or the routers?

Error 721 quite often indicates that GRE is being blocked. Check that the
router and firewall both allow GRE . GRE is IP protocol 47 . Blocking GRE
kills a pptp connection, because the encrypted data travels inside a packet
with a GRE header.
