Hello there,
While connected to our L2TP VPN over *broadband*,
everything works; I can ping internal resources. However,
if I connect over a *dialup* session, although I can
initially connect, I'm unable to ping internal resources.
Also, I get disconnected after exactly 3 minutes. No
errors in the client's/server's event logs (just normal
connect/disconnect events).
I've played around with all variations of "use default
gateway on remote network" - no luck.
What confuses me is why it would behave differently for a
dialup session versus broadband. You would think that the
L2TP server wouldn't care; it just sees TCP-IP traffic.
Anybody out there have a suggestion?
Thanks!
