I have set up a VPN connection on Windows XP but the box keeps telling me that my name/pasword is incorrect which it isnt. Any ideas?

Are you using static IP address or DHCP is enabled? You could get this error
if the VPN Server is not able to reach the DHCP server. You can check the
event logs at the server it could give you some useful information.

Other things to check:

1. Case
2. If you are connecting to a domain, specify your domain name (i.e.,
DOMAIN\USERNAME)
